Josh Pierce, President

“I’ve had an interest in finance from a young age. I was an intense budgeter in high school and my career was arguably started when I won my FFA chapter’s Star Agribusiness award from my rigorous analysis and implementation of my agribusinesses. Through college, I continued this passion with a major in Agribusiness and a focus on farm and ranch management, but it wasn’t enough. I pursued a minor in finance and began managing my own investment account analyzing and trading various investments. This allowed me to put to use the analysis techniques that I was learning in the classroom setting.

While in college, I was accepted to one of the top ten internships in the finance industry where I began learning the retail-finance and insurance industry, as well as successfully completing the internship. I was offered a position upon graduation and was enrolled in one of the top sales schools in the finance and insurance industry.

After moving to Gillette in 2016, I joined the banking industry to further my learning and understanding of finance. In 2017, I evolved into a dual position as a commercial loan officer and wealth management advisor to be able to continue to pursue my passions with helping people manage their money. In 2019, I opened my own firm to be able to use all the knowledge and experience gained through the various positions I’ve served, to truly give my clients the best possible experience – one I would be happy to serve my own family with!”

Josh currently lives in Rozet, Wyoming with his beautiful wife Sarah and his two dogs, three horses, and a cat. In his spare time, he helps out at several local cattle ranches, plays pedal steel guitar in a local band, enjoys team roping, hunting, fishing, golfing, and CrossFit training.

Joan Walle, Operations Manager

Joan Walle is the founder of Walle Virtual Services LLC (WVS). WVS was formed to offer Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to growing independent financial advisors and others within the financial industry as an alternative for entrepreneurs who may not need a full-time administrator. She is passionate about exceeding client expectations and seeks to understand what’s important to her team and to the clients they support.

Joan is a seasoned professional offering more than 15 years as an executive administrator with a background in commercial construction, banking, and property management. A few of her project highlights include coordination and management for the annual delivery of 100 engineering and soft skills classes for 2,000 participants. She has managed a Six Sigma Green Belt project that resulted in a 42% project cost savings. She served as a Branch Administrator for a large Fortune 500 financial firm for 5 years and was recognized as part of the top 25% of the firm for her contributions to increasing Client Satisfaction.

A long-time resident of North Carolina, she enjoys sweet tea and will offer you a glass while she tells you a great story instead of giving you a short answer. That’s what Southerners do! When she is not working, Joan enjoys camping and kayaking with her husband and their two pups.

Trinitie Jenkins, Marketing Manager

“Yes, you read that right, camel training is an actual thing. And while it may be my most unique position thus far, it’s one of many that have broadened my scope of education and imprinted the importance of being open minded to all growth. Fortunate to be born and raised beneath the Big Horn mountains in Buffalo, Wyoming, it was the small town life and country surroundings that has kept me real. Well, that, and a Marine father who made sure I stayed outside, occupied and horseback during my youth. Yes, I can honestly say that I have cleaned a shower with a toothbrush and while I tease about such memories (behavior corrections), it was that very structure that has ingrained respect, integrity and diligence. Eager to expand my horizons, a scholarship took me to the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, CO where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. No matter the occupation, creativity combined with business growth have always been an incorporated part of my journey to where I am today. Gillette, WY has been my home now for over 15 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed the people and community this area offers. It is here that I also find my priceless value in “reset” time with family, friends and 2.25 horses (Jingle, the mini, occupies the .25). Supporting local events with Jingle has become a favorite connection. After all, it is Wyoming. Having a continued appetite for knowledge and a conviction for service, I see every challenge as another expansion for higher achievement.

Over twenty years of experience in business sales, advertising and marketing, strategic planning, financial structure, customer relations, data organization and software fluidity is the basis for my devotion to finding the right solution for the situation. From thriving companies as Operations Manager to Owner, to Independent Financial Professional, the developed qualities gained have created an unlimited enthusiasm for completing the puzzle. Life is what you make it and I’m a firm believer in giving 200% while laughing along the way; or when Jingle is involved, laughing is the only way. It’s an exciting journey and a privilege implementing these professional skills with the JH Pierce Team whose drive is to ‘Quarterback financial success for individuals and businesses alike’.
